Baxter

I just thought you'd like to see some pictures of Baxter and Sheldon.Baxter is gaining some needed weight and is a very lovable cuddly guy. He doesn't listen to you when he is interested in something else, but we love him and he has exceeded our hopes for helping Sheldon with his fear of thunder. We've had a couple of storms (not biblical ones yet) but even the smallest noise from thunder in the distance would send Sheldon into a trance with tremors and looking like he was having a seizure. Baxter on the other hand, runs outside to play in the pouring rain....in and out...in and out.... Sheldon has taken notice to this display of nuttiness and now just lays quietly watching his crazy brother play in the rain. We haven't had to medicate Sheldon since Baxter has come to live with us. If he wasn't so lovable I would love Baxter for this act alone. Thank you again for making this a great match! Lorna Leary....Baxter's mom.

New Years Greetings! Here is the photo from our Christmas letter - Belle and Luc seem to be doing just fine. It turned out that were not the right candidates for an invisible fence, and we have been trying to get them back out to where the flags were (now that the system is shut down). Belle is a fierce defender of her home (they are now both inside except for walks). After six months, we see progress in our cats and dogs living together. What we like most is that both dogs have become so much more playful; when they get going, it’s like watching puppies wrestle each other. And they have opened up to us as well.
