Unconditional Love Pet Rescue

As Foster Mom for Odi, Owen Orson and Onyx I got to see their personalities develop and how they interacted with people and other animals.  We have two small dogs under 12 lbs. (Lily and Doc) and 1 cat.
All the puppies LOVED the cat they actively wanted to greet and play with the cat.  Our cat is 18 and a very grumpy senior and really wanted nothing to do with the pups.  Yet the pups still reached out from behind the gate to try to “pat” the kitty.

At first, Owen was a worry! He did not venture out of his bed except to do his business and eat.  He was very shy.  He has come a long way.  He now plays with his siblings and loves to come out and play with Lily and Doc.  He will do well in a family with another dog.  He particularly likes Lily and she responded to him better than to the other pups. He will need some patience to bond with his human…but time and gentleness has won him over.  He now rushes to greet me!  And he is the most vocal calling me to come play.  He loves to snuggle!
