I received a call this week from a Vet's office about this beautiful girl, Shadow. The receptionist was in tears as she told me Shadow's story. The owner left her with them while she relocated to Alaska, planning for Shadow to fly out when the move was complete. After moving into a residence that would not allow Shadow she called and told the Vet. to just euthanize her. The owner figured since Shadow is 10 years old no one would want her. The receptions went on to describe her personality and why they couldn't bring themselves to put her down. She has been a family dog and is GREAT with people, kids and all 4 legged creatures. Shadow is extremely playful, plays fetch and can catch a ball. She has an all around phenomenal personality!! She is house trained and would be a low maintenance girl. The Vet's office could not find one reason to end her life. Please help me find Shadow a home and prove pets are not disposable just because they don't fit in your plans anymore.
